First, I did get 16khz working per the Wiki. Very easy! No problems there. It sounds GREAT! I am glad both my client and I had original 44.1khz WAV files of our operator announcements... Easy to convert to 16khz, and they sound so much better than the 8khz version!

In the Wiki, it is mentioned that there is a voicemail issue with Polycom phones when FreeSwitch is running everything at 16khz. I've tried and tried (well, about eight voicemails) to reproduce, coming from an external cellphone, softphone, Polycom-to-Polycom and I don't seem to be able to reproduce this issue...

So, my questions...

1. Is there a scenario I can test that will reproduce the problem or is the problem fixed and the Wiki simply needs updating?

2. Are there any circumstances where existing 8khz audio will not work properly in the 16khz environment?

3. Has anyone seen any stability issues with FreeSwitch at this sample rate?

Thanks!
