Checked the MX records and they are pointing to the kerio mail server. Is it
possible that the EmailFormat.properties file is incorrect. What is the known
good example of the file that is replied upon in the sipXecs community. Perhaps
I have an issue in my file and that is why I have not courtesy email link.

correct. sipx should send out a courtesy email with a link for the user to set
the password for their imap account. if it is not sending that, it is likely
due to the mx records pointing back to itself.

Tony,

In the first email message that contains the WAV file attachment, am I supposed
to see the different links for "Listen to message", "Show voicemail Inbox" and
"Delete message"? I assume not as I no longer see the option for selecting
"Full" when IMAP is selected. I also am assuming that this is because of SYNC.

Thanks for the help,

Rob

determine if your server/provider supports IDLE and SEARCHES

if it does not return these capabilities or does not have them to enable, you
won't really get anywhere.

there is a posting about the email password change password required and you
should search the archives for that, its a separate thing. Once you get the
password working, you wont sync imap with voicemail unless you "determine if
your server/provider supports IDLE and SEARCHES".

I am having some problems with the IMAP feature within sipXecs. I am receiving
the email with the wav file attachment however I also am getting an additional
email informing me that "e-mail password change required" via a sender of
"Voicemail [email protected]" . I have changed the
EmailFormats.properties file entries listed below.

SenderName = Voicemail & Fax Notification Service
SenderMailto = [email protected]
HtmlTitle = Voicemail & Fax Notification
Fax_format = pdf

I have reviewed the wiki information for IMAP setup and it seems straight
forward. I have reviewed Google results and those perhaps lead to a conclusion
that sipXecs and our IMAP server are not playing nice together. Would this be
the correct conclusion? If I use regular email with Full notification the
voicemail & fax feature seems to work well.

The email server that we are using is Kerio Connect 7.3.2

Perhaps others may be able to help me out on trying to figure the problem. My
goal is to allow the users to manage voicemail (Read - Listen, Delete - Delete)
in Outlook.

Thanks everyone,
