Polycom has a compatibility list online:

http://support.polycom.com/global/documents/support/technical/products/voice/Headset_Compatibility_List_SoundPoint_IP_TB37477.pdf

There are several headset modes, Regular, Jabra and Plantronics. All of
these are considered analog to the polycom.

Other than turn on headset in sipxconfig, the rest is done manually at the
phone itself.

Personally, the Jabra Go Bluetooth is nice too (expensive) but it can pair
with both your cellphone and its base station and comes with an extra
charging only stand, so you can use it with your polycom and your
smartphone too, which is nifty.

There is no need to go see them except enable headset in sipxconfig and
walk them through whatever settings they need for the type (see above). I
suspect the compatibility list will tell you whether or not these will all
work.
