I received this link from a Polycom Product Manager. It has all of the information related to the new UC versions of the Polycom firmware. Version 3.3.x and above they are referring to it as UC.
http://support.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/us/support/voice/polycom_uc/polycom_uc_software_support_center.html The particular link you are asking about is here - http://support.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/us/support/eula/ucs/UCagreement_combined_4_5_0_downgrader.html This does work. I upgraded a 550 phones a few weeks ago in error. Just earlier this week I found the time and did the downgrade on it for verification purposed and was able to put it back from 4.0.1b to 3.2.6. Enjoy! Hi Todd! Yep, we just got a batch like that. Would you mind providing a link to the utility needed to perform the downgrade to 3.2? Thanks. _____ From: "Todd Hodgen" <[email protected]> To: "Discussion list for users of sipXecs software" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2012 11:09:41 PM Subject: [sipx-users] Are you receiving Polycom's with 3.3.3 yet? According to Polycom’s February 2012 Product Shipping Configuration Change Notice, all current models of their phones will be shipping from the factory with at least version 3.3.3 loaded on them. Problem! You can downgrade the software with a tool that is available on their website, but what a mess! _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
