usually you would restart the "CallResolver" (I try to do this from the CLI (sipxprox -r CallResolver, then check it with sipxproc --state, to see if it restarted or got stuck).
You said something about doing a yum update, but I see you did not update any sipx rpm's, sending profiles won't help. What is the exact version of 4.4 you are running? Actually the output of sipxproc--state would be helpful (in general).
