All,

I would like to develop a GUI framework for SISuite starting with support
for the SystemImager commands: getimage, addclients, mkdhcpserver,
mkautoinstalldiskette, and mkautoinstallcd. Other commands could be added
in the future. It would be similar to the command line interface with one
screen per command. Initially, it would not provide additional
functionality or data validation.

I'm leaning toward a web/CGI/perl approach. This requires a web server in
order to operate, but has benefits including easing a potential transition
into a Webmin module.

If it works, the intent is to make it available with the
SISuite/SystemImager code base. Any preference if the effort should be
hosted under SISuite or a new SourceForge project?

HP is sponsoring my involvement.

Doug Craddock
