The CD-ROM functionality works fine, but when it comes to formatting ext3, and before that when its discovering hardware, I see a lot of Unknown symbol messages. Further inspection with depmod reveals that most of the modules have many unknown symbols.
I've done a make clean followed by make install_system_all, as the most thorough rebuild I could manage, and then remade my ISO image with the latest boel_binaries.tar.gz, kernel, and initrd.img (this is for my CD-based standalone install I'm working on).
I've ensured that everything in /usr/share/systemimager/i386/standard/ is the same version (or at least, they all have timestamps within 3 minutes (it took much longer to build).
Can anyone give me precise instructions for creating a well-formed kernel and boel_binaries?
