For now I'm going to change it back to CONFIG_M486=y.
Josh, if there's a compelling reason to make this a pentium4 only kernel, please let me know.

This is a really evil change to make to the i386 config, since we have users who couldn't deal with the i386 kernel actually being i586. We had to step back from 586 for some of our users.
Ditto that for everything else you did to the chipset, like messing with the LCACHE shift. Ditto that for turning on ACPI stuff. You didn't just trim it down, you changed the chipset and added things.
I'm willing to be overruled, but I think this is going to disenfranchise people who don't have p4's.
