si_monitor is included yes, but I like to confirm that it is actually
working and whether additional code needs to be added to make it
complete.

Again, there are some issues here, namely SystemImager does not
understand udev and thus if you try to use si_mkbootpackage on a system
which uses udev, you won't be able to create a working initrd.img.

I agree.

BTW, I have already sent a patch to Brian for the spec file, it contains
a bit more items like adding requirement for perl-TermReadKey,
%configure, Copyright -> License.

The makefile needs to be updated so that it creates
/var/lock/systemimager (needed by si_monitor).
