I should add that there is the potential for some corner cases though.
Such as if we create a filesystem with a format understood by the
current version of a driver, that is "too new" for the older version of
the driver (in the 2.4 based client image).

I don't know how likely we are to run up against these, but if it is a
real problem for a user, they can always use an older release of
SystemImager.
