Thus spake Bernard Li ([EMAIL PROTECTED]):
Hey Brian:

I was reading this:

http://linux-hotplug.sourceforge.net/?selected=scsi

It mentioned that it looks for /sys/$DEVPATH/type to figure out what
kind of module to load - however, I don't see a /sys directory in either
the initrd.img nor boel_binaries.tar.gz - is this the reason why it's
not working?

/sys is mounted by the mount_sys() function from etc/init.d/functions,
and is called by etc/init.d/rcS right after mount_proc().

Cheers, -Brian

I notice that with a si_prepare(ed) initrd.img, it's there (probably
copied straight from the client's file system).

Cheers,

Bernard

It is my plan that we remove discover. And I must be losing my mind, as I thought I had already done so.

Cheers, -Brian
