I've looked at your patches, unfortunately I've no experience to create
deb packages, so, sorry, I've not the answer for your questions...

Instead, I've another question... regarding patch 02 I've not understood
why you changed the default kernel version. The 2.6.18.1 has been
strongly tested and it seems to work well with all the other
systemimager components...
