Hi Dann,

The problem is that initrd-template is a arch independent package but does 
include ELF binaries. The package must be (i think) arch independent (it may 
be used on other architectures to boot up x86_64 clients) so we need a way to 
include in a proper manner the different binaries. As i said in my previous 
email, a solution seems to zip the different binaries (something i saw for 
other Debian packages providing binary blogs - such as firmware).

Other suggestions are of course welcome (i am far from being the Debian 
guru). :-)
