Sean, The output from --verbose shows the following: BOOT::Yaboot :: Line 91 Yaboot executable set to . BOOT::LILO :: Line 76 LILO executable set to /sbin/lilo BOOT::GRUB :: Line 101 GRUB executabel set to /sbin/grub-install
When I force the commands manually for GRUB on re-boot the kernel panics so something else is not being setup properly. Is there anyway to check to make sure the systemconfigurator info from the golden-client is setup properly during the prepareclient/getimage One other thought. I have partitioned my hard disk to 4 partitions and the boot partition was not the first partition on the disk. Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated. Can you add --verbose to the systemconfigurator line in the autoinstall script, and provide that output? -Sean -- __________________________________________________________________ Sean Dague Mid-Hudson Valley sean at dague dot net Linux Users Group http://dague.net http://mhvlug.org There is no silver bullet.
