I have a site which uses a Windows 2000 DHCP server and I am trying to get SI setup.
I added the Vendor specific option 140 and set the value to "w.x.y.z". When the client gets the DHCP information though it receives a HEX representation of the IP address which then will not work with ping and/or rsync. Does anyone have any information as to how to configure the Windows 2000 dhcp server to properly send the vendor specific option? Any and all thoughts, ideas, and information are appreciated...I am at a loss.
