Another seeming bug is that the functions script in the rcS file sets VERSION="3.5.3", then checks that against the out put of "uname -r" on boot. well, that's NEVER going to succeed. I've temporarily modified my functions to use the same command for both KERNEL_VERSION and VERSION.
