i am currently trying to install the systemimager server
v3.6.3-1 on one
of my machines, but it keeps failing on XML::Simple.
system info:
amd based 32-bit system XP 3000+ processor with 1gb ram
fedora core2 running the 2.6.5-1.358 kernel

i have installed XML::Simple via cpan. results from cpan install
XML::Simple:
Appending installation info to
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.3/i386-linux-thread-multi/perllocal.pod
/usr/bin/make install -- OK
XML::Simple is up to date (2.14).
my XML::Simple is well within the requirements. i have tried to
uninstall and re-install the deps, but it continues to fail
in the same
place. i have also tried the install on 2 other systems. one is a
similar os/hardware configuration, the other is an amd XP 3200 over
centos v4.2. all systems return the same error.
does anyone have a solution for this? we are a medium sized company
with a 3 man IT team and no budget. if i could get this working, it
would be an absolute godsend. thanks in advance for any advice.
