OK, let me understand better... You have a 32-bit image server and you're trying to image 64-bit clients with a 64-bit image.
I suppose you're using boot over PXE. I suppose that systemconfigurator works correctly in your golden client, but not in the chrooted environment in your image server, but this is obvious, because the image server is a 32-bit machine and the image is for 64-bit archs only. You installed systemimager-x86_64boot-standard package in your image server and systemimager-x86_64initrd_template in your golden client. First of all you tried with the standard boot package (BOEL), so you copied /usr/share/systemimager/boot/x86_64/standard/kernel in /tftboot/kernel and /usr/share/systemimager/boot/x86_64/standard/initrd.img to /tftpboot/initrd.img. But it didn't work. With "it didn't work" I mean systemconfigurator reported the "exec format error" at the end of the imaging. Then you tried with BOEL. You copied /usr/share/systemimager/boot/x86_64/<your_image>/kernel into /tftboot/kernel and /usr/share/systemimager/boot/x86_64/<your_image>/initrd.img into /tftpboot/initrd.img. But it still not work... Is it all correct? -Andrea Omar Samad wrote: > Andrea: > > Sorry to bug you again, just I kinda hit the wall again, still with same > error.
