Hello Simon,
I believe the last discussion is here:
http://www.mail-archive.com/sisuite-users@lists.sourceforge.net/msg02460.htm
l
Unfortunately the original thread doesn't seem to include the solution
found.
Since my linux dhcp configuration contains the line:
option option-140 code 140 = text;
have you tried sending the value as type text instead of IP?
If you figure it out, please leave a message, how you did it, so others can
benefit.
Thanks,
Thomas Krause

Betreff: [sisuite-users] providing image server address using a Microsoft
windows DHCP server
Hello all,
I know this has been discussed before in this mailing list ...
Actually I brought it up and Bryan Washer helped me figuring it out but I
lost the note and it was a couple years back so sorry for the repost.
I have a windows DHCP and I am trying to set my scope option to the IP
address of my server. I set the data type to ip-address on the windows box
and it gets parsed out on the system imager side as :
Windows value (ip type)
16.0.0.1.38
System imager reads
10:0:0:1:26
Any suggestion on how I should set the windows side to get this to work
properly.
Thanks very much for your time ... again
Simon
