I think we're talking about two different things - at least I hope we 
are - because this document talks about a feature introduced in version 
3.9.4 and I'm talking about something I've been using since pre 3.0 
days, at least I think that's when I first started using SI.

I'm specifically talking about putting one or more files into the 
directory /var/lib/systemimager/overrides/scriptname/... and after 
systemimager installs the image it looks to see if there are any files 
in this hierarchy and if so, overrides the image with them.  It's in 
this hierarchy I'm putting /etc/rc5.d/script.  My expectation is after 
the system boots my script will be ADDED to what was in /etc/rc5.d and 
not replace everything with it.
