I've been having issues with deploying an image to a server, it keeps failing on pvcreate telling me it can't see a partition that parted has created.
So I was wondering if the server I am deploying to has to have the same amount of disks/space and the same raid as the server I took the image from? My golden client has 5 disks in a raid 5 configuartion, however I've just found out the server I am trying to deploy to has 2 disks in a raid 0 configuration. I'm going to source some more disks and make the server I'm trying to deploy to match my golden client, but I was just wondering anyway.
