Mark,

Install perl(XML::Simple) from yum and you should be fine. I forget the
exact package name, but if you do a `yum search perl | grep -i xml |
grep -I simple` you should find it.

Subject: [sisuite-users] XML::Simple

I'm doing a fresh install of a systemimager server using v4.1.6.

I'm getting the following error:

[r...@sif Systemimager]# rpm -ivh systemimager-server-4.1.6-1.noarch.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
         perl(XML::Simple) >= 2.14 is needed by
systemimager-server-4.1.6-1.noarch

Now when I run
perl -MCPAN -e shell

cpan> install XML::Simple
CPAN: Storable loaded ok
Going to read /root/.cpan/Metadata
   Database was generated on Thu, 09 Apr 2009 03:26:55 GMT
XML::Simple is up to date.

It believes XML::Simple is installed and up to date. I don't
particularly want to just put --nodeps in here as I want to do the
install properly, as I've never managed to actually get systemimager to
work yet!

Many thanks for any assistance.

Mark Hewitt
