We have a small cluster, l01..l16. l01 was kickstarted and became the
golden master. I kickstarted l02..l16, then on each I installed
systemimager-client-4.0.2-1.noarch.rpm & dependencies & ran "si_updateclient
--server lux --image l01.201009".

Unfortunately, when I reboot the nodes, I find
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 renamed to ifcfg-eth0.bak (same for
eth1), so no network -- must fix via the console.

Why? They all have unique HWADDR entries. I'd be fine with copying the
files from the master (I'd just remove the HWADDR lines), or leaving them alone
on the nodes (since they're correct), but why rename them and not replace them?

Google says to blame kudzu and kill it. I ran "chkconfig kudzu off",
but does anyone know *why* kudzu is barfing all over the valid configuration?

Thanks,

Chris
