Urrrg. For the issure in the final configuration step I was caught again in my typical trap: I forgot to activate the "mount /dev /a/dev -o bind" line iin the master script ... Thus, without the "-t ext4" option and activated bind-mount I managed to image an OpenSuSE node with ext4 file system.
