BUFFALO — The Kavinoky Theatre, 320 Porter Ave., will continue its season with
the Western New York premiere of Tom Stoppard's "Rock 'n' Roll."
Opening March 4,"Rock 'n' Roll" is an electrifying collision of the romantic
and the revolutionary. Can rock music change the world? Four time Tony winner
Tom Stoppard’s sweeping tale spans two countries, three generations and 22
years as the counter culture of the 1960’s resonates through the lives of very
real people. Husbands and wives, parents and children, college buddies and
lovers all fight and love and live and laugh while finding their place in the
changing world around them.
The Kavinoky Theatre on the campus of D’Youville College, has scheduled a
five-week, limited engagement of "Rock 'n' Roll" through April 3.
Performances will take place Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 4
and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $36 with discounts available to
military, seniors, students and groups. Call (716) 829-7668 or visit
