Bob~ I was not aware Lincoln added ANY amendment(s) to the "Constitution" Bucannan referred to!
How do you guys imagine such phraseology might survive Lincoln's usurpations (Certainly to include "Executive Power".) and all the girations/seizures literally incorporated in the military dictatorshop by commitee fully in control since March 27th, AD 1861 to this date?? It occurs to me you must personally overlook all you have learned to become party to this recent daydream! Oh well, that's the "American Way", isn't it? ~Hal~ ________________________________ From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Mon, December 14, 2009 2:59:59 PM Subject: The Solution to regaining states rights and controlling our governments... Those of you who had the opportunity to read Jon Christian Ryter's article... http://www.jonchristianryter.com/2009/091213.html ...that I sent you very early this morning will definitely want to watch Judge Napolitano review this issue (click on the link below) with a History professor and Thomas Woods who maintains that the states can nullify unconstitutional federal laws. But, neither of the three are obviously aware that there already is a constitutional amendment initially introduced as the 2nd Thirteenth Amendment in process with no time limit restriction to ratify. Two states have already done so. At the behest of President James Buchanan, two days before Lincoln was inaugurated, the 36th Congress introduced the following amendment to uphold and guarantee states rights: "ARTICLE THIRTEEN, No amendment shall be made to the Constitution which will authorize or give to Congress the power to abolish or interfere, within any State, with the domestic institutions thereof, including that of persons held to labor or service by the laws of said State." Now, that's powerful. Since we now have 50 states, only 36 more must ratify it. Doing this while at the same time repealing the 17th amendment and putting the powers back in the hands of the states where those powers rightfully belong will go a long way toward solving our problems. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9cyGproZGQ Bob Jungles
