I'm not sure what you're asking here. If you're asking if we (read I)  
are willing to develop a Linux port, the answer is a definite no. If  
you're asking whether you or some other Linux developers are allowed  
to borrow code and ideas from Skim, the answer should be obvious: it's  
open source software and accessible under the New BSD License that is  
included in every source file of the project.
