The question is: use for what? QL cannot provide Skim integration for  
PDFs, as those are handled by the system (and QL allows only a single  
plugin for each file type). There is already QL support for .skim  
files and .pdfd bundles.

Reading? QL is not designed for reading, only for displaying.

I don't see how QL could help. But I'm also not sure what kind of  
integration is wanted. QL certainly cannot help in *storing* anything,  
as it is only a tool for *displaying* information about a file.

The designated way to read Skim notes is by using the skimnotes tool,  
which is a stand-alone utility contained in the Skim bundle (for  
convenience) and explained on the Wiki.
