I guess somewhere in AUCTeX: I've tried unsuccessfully to add "--synctex=1" in the AUCTeX, i.e., in Emacs -> LaTeX -> Customize AUCTeX -> Browse Options -> TeX Command -> TeX Command List -> LaTeX -> Command ... But I do not know what to modify. > You can check that by seeing > whether a file with extension .synctex or .synctex.gz is generated. Great, Christiaan: thanks! This works, for pdflatex in both directions Emacs <-> Skim. But for simpdftex-1 it works only in the direction Skim -> Emacs (it has always been the same with pdfsync). It seems boring to put "\synctex=1" in every individual tex file, there must be some way to set the default latex command globally. I'll ask in the Carbon Emacs group. > > Christiaan > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge > Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes > Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world > http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ > _______________________________________________ > Skim-app-users mailing list > Skim-app-users@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/skim-app-users > -- Roussanka ----------------------------------------------- Roussanka Loukanova Computational Linguistics Uppsala University Visiting Fellow at TiLPS My tel in Tilburg: +31 13 466 2539 Email (the easiest way to reach me): [EMAIL PROTECTED] URL: http://stp.ling.uu.se/~rloukano/ -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Skim-app-users mailing list Skim-app-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/skim-app-users
