TextMate searches for bundle stuff in the following order:

1) ~/Library/Application Support/TextMate/Bundles    (in your home  
directory, most commonly occurring if you make changes to the file  
using the bundle editor)
2) /Library/Application Support/TextMate/Bundles   (This is usually  
the recommended target for svn checkouts)
3) /Application/TextMate.app/Contents/SharedSupport/Bundles (The one  
shipping with TextMate, typically somewhat outdated)

Perhaps we should move this to the TextMate mailing list if a  
followup is needed. Though unless I'm mistaken, Erich's problem is  
sort of solved? I think Erich has already started a thread on the TM  
list on this problem.
