That would indeed qualify as a feature request, but one that has already been rejected. Sorry.

... indeed! And I was one of those who asked for it. I still would find it useful to consider "presentation" mode more interactive rather than "read-only", but Christiaan seems to have strong opinions here...

My work around is to use the -- free, by now -- Omni Dazzle (http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnidazzle/ ) tool to scribble on the slides (actually: on the screen on top of the slides) in Skim's presentation mode.

Works nicely. The only drawback is: your scribbnling is not part of the slide, if you page forward/backward, the scribbling stays up, and if you delete it, it's gone forever. So, to me it's really just a work- around, and I'd *really* prefer, if Skim offered the functionality.

[BTW: there has been another discussion slot aksing for the removal of the sliding panel effects (to the left and right of the screen) in full-screen mode. If that were possible, we could use full-screen instead of presentation mode and achieve pretty much the desired effects. Unfortunately, blocking the sliding panels in full-screen mode is possible either...]

I like and use Skim very much. I'm sure, this intended additional functionality (either way) would be beneficial for many of us who use SKim in class and try to give a little more "(inter)active" presentations. Maybe sometime Christiaan can be talked into adding it...

Best
