No kidding. Clearly a ripoff, right down to the icon! I think this is allowed
under the terms of the BSD license, but I also think they need to acknowledge
the original authors, based on the license linked in Skim's about box:

I'm truly surprised it made it through the app store review. I wonder if the
DVI support is removed? My understanding is that Mac App Store applications
can't fork/exec other processes.
