Dear Alan, Christiaan, Tom and Carsten, Thank you very much for your help last week with my lost annotations. This did indeed turn out to be a Dropbox problem. I’ve recovered the annotations from my backups and continue to be a very happy user of Skim while looking for alternatives for Dropbox, so all is good. Thank you once again! Heli
