I've used the mouse cursor as a (rather poor) pointer, almost certainly with Skim. In recent covid-19 online presentations the mouse pointer was a very tiny arrow and nearly impossible to see. More and more presentations are online or partially online and in those cases a laser is useless. So we need to be able to use the mouse as a pointer. That means that the mouse controlled cursor SHOULD be possible to show in presentation mode if the person wants to. Then the question is whether it can be made into a bright easily visible spot.
