They are resored.
However, I am sorry to report that although they are ‘restored’ the overall
layout is not restored: the side panes are layered over the central pane - i.e.
the text.
This makes the text unreadable and thereby the app non-functional.
Has this issue not arisen with other users?
Is it a compatibility isses with my macOS - 10.15.7?
Have you seen the screenshots I sent you illustrating the issue?
