Hi, The required field are minimal information require to draw the object to a chart. They are enclosed between bracket in the field list.
I put a sample of use of this catalog here: http://www.ap-i.net/tmp/pleiades.zip To use it launch Catgen, click "Load project", select the file I90.prj, select the data file, take a look at the different options, note the values for equinox and epoch of the coordinates. In the last page change the Ouput Directory and click Build Catalog. I have doubt about the proper motion in this file, they are mentioned as "relative proper motion" but relative to what? maybe it is worth to read the original article.
