I just tried manually entering C/1577 I and it worked. There was another comet listed under "curent comet" when I opened the comet window, so I just cut-and-paste the name and elements over the previous numbers. I left the epoch at 2000. I know what H is but don't know the value for this object, and I have no idea what "G" is, so I left those, and "reference", unchanged. Then I clicked "save" (under "current comet"), and it was added to the comet list. Dates in 1577, and current, both work, as does the calendar. What are you using for H and G? -John
