It appears to me that V3 responds a lot slower to zoom/unzoom/move commands
than 2.x did. I can't really check it right now as it appears that you can't
have 2.x and 3.0 on a machine at the same time in different directories. 2.x
Won't start anymore. Well, it starts and then keeps telling me it wants to
tell Microsoft about the crash over and over again. Only way out is to kill
ciel.exe with the task manager.

So could the performance hit be because it's now SQL based? The memory foot
print is only 23MB with Ciel3 is running. How about plopping all the stars
etc. in RAM instead of reading from disk? Could SQLite be configured to do
that? I have a P4 3.0 with 1 GB of RAM and fast SATA drives.

Thanks,

    Sander
