I've put a new version - 1.2 - of Ascom.tid in the files area, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/skychart-discussion/files/fix/Ascom.zip
This will report any error that is raised by the ASCOM driver with the correct text rather than a generic error message and will make determining what has gone wrong a lot easier. To install it, download the file, unzip it and replace the current version of Ascom.tid with this version. I've also put the sources for this in the AscomTel1.zip file in the files/fix folder.
