Sander, It looks like from your sketch that you are try to get north up, if that the case then just switch to polar projections. Keep in mind that zenithal projection is a function of time and azimuth direction for the center of the chart. This means the time the chart will only line up once a day and only if facing the direction of the center of the chart. I prefer to print my charts with north up and then just point the chart at Polaris, that way I don't need to keep track of time. I am just to simple minded to keep track of all those angles and things. In defense of using zenithal projection, CdC is the easiest I have found to make the chart match the view in the eyepiece of a dob. Bob
