"S" is not a Bayer (greek letter) or Flamsteed (number) designation. It's a
variable star designation.

I'm not too familiar with v.3 yet, but 2.76 found both S Cep and S Gem using
the search box. They're both in the GCVS (general catalog of variable stars).

Variable star designations are complicated. See
<http://www.seds.org/~spider/spider/Misc/naming.html>, scroll down a few
paragraphs to the section on vauriable stars.
