I downloaded V3.0.0.9 and, being too clever for my own good, installed
it in its own custom directory instead of under Program Files like the
previous version.

Well, that apparently created a file in documents and settings which
points V3 at the wrong locations (the custom directory) for catalogs,
constellations, etc. All of which are already located elsewhere, in
Program Files/Ciel

So I uninstalled V3 and reinstalled it where it belongs, alongside
V2.76 under Program Files.

But it still points at the wrong location for catalogs which already
exist under 2.76, unless I manually change the locations.

I can change the catalog locations manually in V3 (or the .ini file)
but that's too much work and invites problems later if I add more
catalogs.

Now, is it possible for me to completely remove V3, and presumably
also wipe out the "settings" file cartesduciel.ini for V3 without
affecting the existing installation? Or has it already been corrupted?
I only see one .ini file so I suspect I have to re-install everything
fresh, including V2.76

2.76, meanwhile, seems to be working normally so I hate to burn that
down if I don't need to.

Thanks,

Pete
