Hello, Patrick.

Thank you for replying about this. I can well imagine how many emails
and questions you get!

This Registry key
> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Astro_PC\Ciel\Install_Dir
is also set by Ver 2.76, as I see that value in my development
machine. So if I change RTGUI to read that value instead of the key
> HKEY_CURRENT_USER:"Software\Astro_PC\Ciel\Config\Appdir
that it is now reading (they both contain the same value), it should
be fine for Ver. 2.76 as well as for the future Ver 3.

The Command Line parameters for Ver 3 will not change, will they? All
the Ver. 2.76 commands will still work? (Actually, as I mentioned in a
private email, there is one addition I'd like to see: a "Goto" Command
Line parameter to send the connected telescope to the specified
location, as soon as the chart has been completed. That would make CdC
"scripts" possible, and allow related programs like RTGUI and NSOL to
utilize CdC to handle the Goto for telescopes these programs do not
support.)

   best,

     Robert
