The GOTO command is a good idea, they may be some variant: goto the current chart center, goto a named object, goto RA+DEC ... The prefered communication method for the V3 is by tcp/ip socket (Perl and Java example here: http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.cgi/skychart/trunk/skychart/scripts/ ) but I want to keep the compatibility with the V2.
