I am Mario Fernández.
As user of Cartes du Ciel, I need the UCAC2 catalog for my friends
and colleagues of the Sabadell Astronomical Association, SPAIN. I
have been able to build it with their files and programs contained in
CdCu2.zip, that is to say, with u2conv.exe and u2cd1, 2 and 3.bat,
but I have a problem. The CdC usable final catalog doesn't contain
the numbers UCAC2 (Catalog Id's) of each star and in our case in the
Sabadell Astronomical Association is necessary us that the UCAC2 for
Cartes du Ciel contains that information. You could, please, to
prepare a new one ucac2.prj for Catgen so that you include in the
final catalog the number UCAC2 of the stars? It is that I don't know
where find that information in the files u2znnn. [nnn = 001.. 288]
result of the use of u2conv.exe on the original files of the CD ROM
of the USNO.
I wait to have expressed myself well, and that You have understood
me, because my English is very bad.
