I have noticed that when RTGUI sends CdC a position for charting an
object, it usually looks a "little off". However, the RA and DEC being
sent over are correct. RTGUI automatically performs precession
calculations, so the epoch being sent over is 2006.

Experimenting with using a fixed epoch, when the position sent over is
Epoch 2000, the chart looks "exact". The object is quite centered.

Does CdC always use Epoch 2000 for charting? I don't see any options
for doing otherwise. So programs that create charts need to precess
everything to J2000 for best accuracy?

One more question: will this be the same when Ver. 3 is released?
Should I make conversion to J2000 permanent when RTGUI sends over
positions to CdC?
