Yes, the other component are not include in the file by the MPC.
You need to get the elements from the MPEC and include them to the file or 
using the program interface. 
MPEC 2006-G24 seem to be the most recent with all the components:

You must find the same abbreviation in this page and in the program, this may 
help.

For the magnitude you get wrong result probably because you not set the H and G 
parameters. They are generally not available in MPEC.
I suggest you copy the value for the 73P main component (H=12, G=6), eventually 
increase H by the magnitude difference with the main component.
Magnitude prediction for a comet is mainly empirical and this is specifically 
true for an active object like this one, see the recent G outburst.
