If I may borrow a phrase:

It just works!!!!! 

 I have the catalogs in, unzipped and showing on the chart.  First try.

CDC in Linux, WOW.  And it is fast. 

I am using an AMD 3400 64b processor, 1gig of memory at 400mh, and an old 
nividia 5200 with 128k video memory.  The Linux Ubuntu version is the 32 bit 
one, not the 64 as the 64 is just not ready yet.
