Patrick or anyoen else with experience on satellite plotting,
A long while ago there were a few messages concerning plotting
geosync satellites (see Msgs 2791, 2801, and 2802). To make a long
story short, there is a program called HighFly that will deal with
the special complexities of geosync satellites and spit out their
coordinates in much the same way that Quicksat does today for other
satellites.
I'd like to plot these in CdC either by modifying the
call/script/??? that calls Quicksat (and optinoally Iridium) to
generate the OUTPUT.TXT file that contains satellite plotting info,
or to just substitute another OUTPUT.txt file directly.
Any ideas on how this could be accomplished? Ideally, all three
programs (QuickSat, Iridium, and HighFly) could be called to
generate a single OUTPUT.TXT file for plotting.
Thanks in advance,
Tony Hurtado
