Hi,
I've been working on an asteroid occultation site
http://occult.tungstentech.com/ . It would be nice if I could create CdC
3 chart files for the specified star and time. I looked at the .chart
files and they contain all (or lots) of details that I don't want to
change when a user loads a star chart. More importantly it just contains
the view parameters, not the target. Is there any way to do this? I
basically want to create a file that when loaded will use all current
settings except time and then search for the specified target and
display it.
I know Deepsky Astronomy Software can direct CdC to look at a target but
I thought it did that through DDE. That is not available to me as a web
programmer.
